About Hinson Law Firm, LLC



Kaitlin Hinson has experience representing numerous clients in highly contested divorces, legitimations, modifications of custody, adoptions, and child support cases. She is also a certified Guardian ad Litem in Georgia. She was an associate attorney at the Cansino Law Firm for four years. Prior to that she served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Macon and Ocmulgee Judicial Circuits in the Juvenile Court Division. She currently serves on the Alumni Board for Middle Georgia State Univesity and is the Board Chair for Next Level Community Development Center. She previously served as the President of the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit Bar Association. Kaitlin is admitted to practice before all the State and Appellate Courts in the State of Georgia.
Originally from Gray, Georgia, Kaitlin graduated magna cum laude from Mercer University (B.A. 12). She then attended Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law (J.D. 15, cum laude). While in law school, Kaitlin received the Custer-Tuggle Award for excellence in the practice of domestic relations, as well as a CALI Award for Academic Excellence in her Family Law Course. She was also a student member of the William Augustus Bootle American Inn of Court.Kaitlin currently lives in Macon, Georgia with her husband, Brandon, and daughter, Crosby. Kaitlin founded Hinson Law Firm in 2020.
